I thought this place would be small and boring but wow was I ever surprised. We had people in our group ages 2 to 67 and all of us were very impressed with the staff, displays and rides. They have many displays, a barn with quite a few trolleys and a couple of miles of track where you can ride different trolleys from different eras. For a small fee we all had a blast. Many in our group remembered the street cars in DC in the 50s and early 60s. They have one of those in the barn with many photos of the old DC system on the walls. What childhood memories we shared! There are funny trolley videos to watch also to add to the fun.
Excellent place to bring the kids. Reasonable price with included trolley ride.
It's fun experience for everyone. The place is run by volunteer staff who are really enthusiastic about the museum. They take pride in explaining about the museum and the history of trolleys
Nice ride. Loved the idea with Santa ride. Kids loved it. Good amount of history, pictures, exhibits. Wish it had some more of everything. Otherwise, the whole visit can take up to 40 min.
Very enjoyable for kids. We spent a long tome watching the trolley related silent movies.
